Chapter 11: Rules

There are times users wish to receive notification for a certain condition, for example the visitor occupancy exceeds the store occupancy limit set or when the device is offline. The rule is a feature that is built to alert users when some condition is met.

There are 2 types of rules: System Rules and Custom Rules
System rules are mandatory rules running for all users and cannot be deleted, such as device health check processing rule.
Custom rules are created and enabled based on different solutions, such as washroom alert rules.

Target Audience

The rules are targeted to the operation team, to action when being notified.
